Homemade Toothpaste/ Teeth Whitener

When I wake up in the morning my routine usually begins with brushing my teeth. So I wanted to see if there was an alternative for toothpaste and I found it!

Here’s what you need:
Baking Soda

Here’s what you do:
sprinkle baking soda on toothbrush and brush as usual. It does have a salty taste but if you like you can add the baking soda to your toothpaste. Either way, I get a great clean feeling but I’ve heard that just using baking soda may be to abrasive for your teeth. You should be able to decide how often you want to use it.

This method is great for removing stains from your teeth. I noticed a difference in my smile after just using it for 1 week.

Baking Soda Mask

So when I first started trying out DIY for my face I started with this mask. I saw it all over the place and wanted to try it immediately.
I used to use a microdermabrasion kit from Mary Kay a while back and love how smooth my skin felt. So I gave this cheaper alternative a try, and it works great!

Here’s what you need:
2 tbs baking soda
2 tbs water

Here’s what you do:
Mix baking soda and water together. It should be pasty or mud like.
Lightly apply to face in circular motions. There is no reason to rub hard or to much. A little massage will do the trick.
Leave on your face for 5 minutes, then rinse with warm water.

See the difference!
The first time I tried this was when i decided my skin care routine would be homemade and natural from now on.

My skin has never looked better!

You can use this treatment once a week. You don’t want to use it daily.

If you need a daily scrub, you can use homemade brown sugar scrub
