Clean your headlights with toothpaste

Ok so I know this is a bad photo but I got kind of excited trying this out and just jumped into it! So I’m not sure where I heard this from but I gave it a shot and I’m so glad I did. I put a dab of toothpaste on a paper towel and just started applying it in the top of the headlight in circular motions. Then, I got a wet paper towel and started wiping the dried toothpaste off and that is how clean it looked. I didn’t do the bottom half because I wanted you to see the difference. If you do apply the toothpaste to the whole headlight you can just pour the water directly on the entire headlight and dry it. Isn’t this a great way to clean up your headlights?!

Stay Calm & Eat Healthy

I’ve found recently that I am eating healthier. Not because spring break is coming up or because I’m trying to drop some L. B.’s, but because the doctor advised my dad if he wanted to live longer, change your diet immediately. Let’s face it. Who hasn’t had a doctor tell our parents to change their diets. Do they listen? Hmmph! An easy fix to this problem was keeping healthy foods in the house and preparing healthy meals. We’re talking fruits straight from a tree to the sink. Same for vegetables, from the ground to being washed. Healthy meats, healthy pasta, healthier oils, even Himalayan salt. Ok well no one really had to convince me to buy that salt, I mean its PINK! Cuteness! The food doesn’t look to bad and its delicious. Well needless to say, I have seen less and less of my dad. I think he has learned if you eat here your foods gonna taste a little different than he’s used too. I’m not trying to promote a healthy diet for you, instead I’m saying if you see my dad can u tell him, HIS PLATE IS READY!

New category

I will now be posting some of the free stuff that I find so that you can also take advantage of these wonderful freebies. Last year when I started finding out I could get tons of free stuff by just knowing where to look. I ended up with a lot of loot and over 20 free subscriptions to magazines. We’re talking Us weekly, Rolling Stone, Teen Vogue, etc. I was able to get a couple wedding magazines which were great because they were just in time for my sisters wedding. Now I know lots of magazines is definitely lots of paper. I was able to donate magazines to offices and even reuse some to make baskets and crafts. Go here for some great ideas.

DIY Floral Centerpiece

There is nothing like having your boyfriend walk in with some flowers! It’s the best actually. Receiving flowers is great, but where to put them? So as my boyfriend and I were looking for a vase we realized we had nothing. So I found this great alternative here. Um, so I don’t know exactly what the site is called or the language but the photo looks pretty self explanatory.
Here’s what you need:
Shears, or scissors

Here’s what you do:

Start taping the top of the bowl so u get it to looked checkered. This will create holes so you can place your flowers. Next, cut your flowers to size so that they fit in your bowl. You don’t want them to long unless you have a lot of filler flowers. Then you can place your flowers exactly where you want them and you will notice your bowl looks full with these flowers.

This is a great alternative when you don’t have a vase or if you just want to add some fresh flowers.

DIY Leopard Print Earrings

(I did the star earrings first then decided to photograph the heart how-to. Sorry for any confusion :))

Everywhere I look there is Leopard print. On leggings, babies, stairs, everywhere. I wasn’t a big fan but when you see it everywhere sometimes it starts to look cute. (Someone obviously drank the kool-aid!)
So it was about 1 am and while I was reading a thought jumps in my head, (that’s right there not in there, they just jump right in) I remembered I had some jewelry that I bought during Halloween and I figured I could make a pair to have the leopard print that’s going around.

Here’s what you need:
Earring studs
Black polish
Gold polish
Brown-ish polish (really any colors u want to use to make leopard

Here’s what you do:
First you grab the earring, paint it gold, dot some of that brown-ish polish. Between adding your different colors of polish you should wait a couple of seconds before applying the next step in polish so that it has a little time to dry. Since you are not using a lot of polish it doesn’t need much time. So, after your “spots” are dry you get your black polish and draw little lines or curves or squiggles whatever your leopard print loving heart desires. My black polish has a very thin brush so I was able to use that but if u do not have one, you can just put a dot of polish on something and use a toothpick to draw the lines, squiggles, curves, whatever.
I don’t know about y’all but I love making things out of the blue!
